Founded in 2004, the Des Plaines Nature Campground is a fine establishment run by our two founders, William Fitzgerald and Emma Chavez. Located in Channahon Township, the campground is a mix of the rich natural Des Moines River and the cultural bricks built of the people, by the people, for the people.
